Vanessa Anne Hudgens

A judge ruled that Vanessa Anne Hudgens former attorney Brian Schall can move forward with his lawsuit against the 18-year-old which alleges the actress owes him $150,000 in legal fees.

Schall filed a breach of contract suit in September claiming Vanessa Anne Hudgens agreed to pay him 5 percent of her earnings for his legal representation, but he has never received the money. Schall also alleges Hudgens earned $5 million with is help.

Vanessa Anne Hudgens lawyer says the ‘High School Musical 3’ star voided the agreement on October 9 and claims Vanessa Anne Hudgens was able to do so under California law as she was a minor at the time the contract was signed. The law states that a minor can void a contract before they turn 18 or “within a reasonable time afterward.” Vanessa Anne Hudgens turns 19 on December 14.

A Los Angeles judge ruled that a jury will decide whether Vanessa Anne Hudgens breached the contract. The next hearing is set for January 15.

Meanwhile, Hudgens has signed on for ‘High School Musical 3’ along with her co-star Vanessa Anne Hudgens and boyfriend Zac Efron.
