When my surgery was scheduled, we didn’t think it would be necessary to cancel the shows because my doctor thought I would heal in time. Unfortunately, the deviated septum was more significant than we originally thought so the healing process is taking longer.The last thing I ever want to do is disappoint my fans. I flew out to the east coast with the dancers and crew, still hoping I would be well enough to perform.I hope you all have a very happy holiday season. I love you guys! Ashley

After spending the past two nights making back-to-back red carpet appearances, Ashley Tisdale was spotted getting ready for takeoff from LAX Airport on Tuesday.

The Disney star passed through airport security with the accompaniment of her mother, Lisa, and puppy, Maui.

The latest reports tell that the “High School Musical 3″ actress and her family are headed to the Big Apple, where Ashley is slated to be seen on Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

From there, Miss Tisdale looks forward to spending a relaxing Christmas at home before heading back to the set for HSM3 in February.

Ashley Tisdale  tells, “I’ll be home for Christmas, so I’m really excited. Last year I was on tour, so I couldn’t have Christmas at home, but this year I’ll be home and I can’t wait!”

He’s been polishing his game on the court lately, and we must say that Zac Efron looks good in a pair of basketball shorts and aviator sunglasses!

The “High School Musical 3″ hottie was doing a little research for his upcoming role in “Seventeen” by shooting around with his buddies in Los Angeles, when he was approached with a special gift.

It was a fun-filled Friday for Vanessa Anne Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale, who spent the afternoon out and about in Studio City, California.

The “High School Musical 3″ co-stars both looked sporty as they first headed to a local office building, where they spent a few hours before emerging to continue their day. After the office stop, it was off to Jinky’s Café, where the starlets grabbed a light bite to eat.

And to cap things off, Vanessa Anne Hudgens, 18, and Ashley Tisdale, 20, grabbed a little pick me up at The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf before heading home.

Zac Efron and Vanessa anne Hudgens have been forced to keep low profiles for some time now as the “nude Photos scandal” kept the on screen and off screen mates in a holding pattern for over a month while they dodged questions about the scandal. The blonde star spoke exclusively from the set to the weekly Entertainment magazine and Ashley, 22, tells OK!, “High School Musical 3″ has been the best project I have ever worked on, so I would definitely do a third.” HSM co-star Zac Efron, 19 (20 next week), is also having a good month. His Hairspray co-star Brittany Snow, 21, gushes to OK!, “Zac is one of my best friends. He’s like my little brother, and he’s just an amazing guy.”

There are reports that the big screen version of the Disney film series

(High School Musical 3) will begin filming in January and some salary numbers have been bandied about but so far there is no official confirmation on the big question - if all of the young stars will be on board.

Disney-ABC International Television, the distribution arm of The Walt Disney Company, has completed a deal for High School Musical 2 to air in over 40 countries.

The film has been licensed for free-to-air TV broadcasters including the BBC and RTE, along with RTI in Italy, ProSieben in Germany, M6 France, Channel 1 Russia, and SABC South Africa. In the Asia-Pacific region CCTV6 in China, Seven Network in Australia, TVNZ in New Zealand and Studio 23 in the Philippines have also licensed the movie.
